The one advantage the T-fal has over all of the other cookware sets we have talked about is the fact that it comes with the thermo-spot, basically a red dot in the middle of the pan that tells you when it is hot enough to start cooking. That may not seem like such an important feature to an experienced, but if you are just now starting, you will probably spend the next 6 months trying to figure out where is the best time but your meat or onions or eggs in the pan.
